Hunt Story

Got off work at 7 a.m. and went home, got my kids, took them to school. Got ready and went, I got in about 8:10, snuck out into a field and sat on top of a hill looking down a power line and around a field. Sat maybe 15 minutes and two does came out on the hill across from me. Kept watching them for something to be following but nothing, a few minutes later another big doe came out in same spot. While watching for something to be following, I just happened to look to my left and this guy had already came out and was about to go back into woods but stopped to play with a licking branch. I saw he was a buck, stood up for a better look, and realized he was a good one, so I put the crosshairs on him and shot. He took off and fell down a big hill. He made it about 40 yards mostly tumbling.
