Hunt Story
I have been monitoring this deer on trail cameras since the summer. However, I have not captured any pictures of him during the daylight hours. I decided to target him based on the photos and being a mature 10-point buck. I had not sightings or encounters with this buck while hunting prior to the evening of the kill. He came into the food plot I was hunting at about 5:45 pm chasing two does. He stopped about 60 yards away in front of my box stand. After I shot him, he ran into the thicket. I recovered him less than 10 yards from where I shot him. Great hunt.
