Watched a very small this-year yearling for about 20 minutes. Had given up again on seeing anything shootable. He came out as the yearling was going back into the brush. This season has been very off. Not seeing hardly any deer at all. Neck shot him at 5:45, and he fell where I shot him. Swollen neck and smelled.
