Hunt Story
On opening day, I watched several does and young bucks come in and out of the field. Me and my husband Will saw this deer in the early evening and we watched him walk out into the field behind at least 8 does, which is a lot of extra eyes and ears! My husband said, "Are you ready" and he moved the blind window down just a tiny bit and that sound made the deer bolt out of the field. I looked at him, like, seriously, did that just happen......No words! 🙂 We didn't go back into the stand until Tuesday afternoon. The weather was perfect, and again we watched does and young bucks come in and out of the field all afternoon but not the buck I saw opening day. Then around 7, we watched him walk through the woods and straight into the food plot. My first-year hunting with a crossbow! I might be hooked.
