It was about 8:40 when my dad sent me a text and said he was going to get down at 9:05 so we could go to church. Then about 5 minutes later I look to my left and the buck is waking straight toward me. I get my gun up and the deer spots me. He was in a opening so I knew it was now or never. So I shot and my dad sent a text and asked if I shot and I said yes. Then my dad walked up to my stand and we tracked the deer and recovered him. This deer is my biggest deer to date.
