Hunt Story
This is my son's first buck ever. He has shot a few does before, all with his crossbow. He doesn't use a rifle at all, and using the crossbow has made him a great hunter. He passed 15 plus does and small bucks before he shot this great buck. We were sitting in a ground blind and had deer all around us all evening. It's a lot of fun hunting with him on the ground as the deer are normally up close and personal. As light was fading, this was the last deer to make it into our spot. He made a great shot at only 12 yards, keeping calm and composed. A high, double lung shot made for an easy tracking job and he assisted with that. To say he was over the moon with his first buck is an understatement. So proud of him and a day I'll never forget.
