Hunt Story
I decided to get in the stand a little earlier because it felt like a good afternoon to be in the woods. The hunt started off a little breezy with little deer movement. As soon as the wind stopped the deer started moving. Around 6:30, I saw a doe running my direction and heard grunting but didn’t see the buck. I got my 30/30 ready and then saw the buck running the doe right to me. It happened so fast and stopped the buck at 15 yards with a grunt. I hit him good and saw him fall from my stand.
