Hunt Story
After school my dad and I went hunting at our land. When we got there I picked up acorns to put in front of my stand. As we were walking to our stands we saw a buck chasing does, so I quickly got set up. Over the next hour I saw a couple does, and then all the sudden the buck from earlier came running toward me. I grunted to stop him about 10 yards away, cocked my 30/30 and shot. Immediately I said thank you Lord and radioed dad that “I just shot a GIANT buck!” Dad radioed back to mark the spot so we know where to start tracking. I said, “No need to mark it, he didn’t take a step. Hurry up he’s HUGE!” When dad got there we recovered the buck and couldn’t believe he had 15 points.
