Hunt Story
Sitting in lock-on stand 30 feet high, edge of clearcut. Witnessed mature buck chase doe off out of sight. After about 15 minutes made two rattle sequences. After second rattle sequence got glimpses of mature rack moving through clearcut about 300 yards out. Made 5 or 6 grunt calls with my mouth. Buck emerged from thick portion of clear cut out in shooting lane 130 yards out coming straight to me. Buck turned to my right, crossed dirt road, headed to younger age clearcut. Broadside one shot, deer collapsed 70 yards into cut.
