Hunt Story
Left work early on a cold and rainy Friday afternoon. Once I arrived at my camp I went and checked cameras and headed to the stand. With a hard north wind blowing I decided to sit the south end of a 500 yard long shooting lane planted in Davis Feed and Seed big Buck Blend. I got in the stand at 4:20 and a shooter buck came running down the shooting lane from the far end at 4:23. He turned and went in the woods never giving me a shot. I felt like with as many does that are using that food plot that there was a good chance he would return before dark. At 4:30 he stepped back out in the lane and gave me a perfect 200 yard shot. He went about 50 yards and piled up. I thank the good Lord for another incredible hunt in his great outdoors.
