Hunt Story
I got to my deer stand around 6:30. After settling in, I looked to my right and the buck came off a hill, and turned going away from me on an old logging road. Within seconds, he turned broadside and gave me around a 60-yard shot. I did not notice until I had pulled the trigger, that he was following a doe. I had seen this buck just days before running a ridge. Persistence does pay off!!
