Hunt Story
I started getting this buck on camera at the end of September once I put my cameras out. On opening day of muzzleloader season a good friend of mine shot at and hit the buck while muzzleloader hunting. We blood trailed the buck for around 80 yards then lost blood. He then called a tracking dog but they were not able to find the buck. Hoping he was still alive we just waited to see if he would show back up on camera. It took 3 days but he did show back up and I could tell he was hit in the neck. After the confirmation that he was still alive I began hunting him. On 10/13 he stepped out into the food plot at last night and I made the shot and he ran about 40 yards before expiring. We weighed 202 pounds live weight.
