Hunt Story
This was my first time hunting this area. I had a friend put me in this spot looking down into a flat bottom. It had three small valleys coming together to make a big bowl mixed with hardwoods and pines. An 8-pointer came down the small valley I was on. It was walking the edge of a thicket looking for does, cruising. The deer walked 30 yards from me, and that's when I shot him. We were actually there bear hunting, and I killed this wall hanger.
