Hunt Story

I was sitting on a stand we call Rock Pile. This stand faces a 29-acre fallow field that the deer like to bed in and feed on the available browse. This stand requires a northwest wind for it to be optimal. To the south of the field is a large stand of white oaks and mixed hardwoods. The buck came from the stand of oaks and walked directly into a shooting lane in the field due northwest of my stand. I shot it a 75 yards, and it dropped in its racks. Regards, Curt Good
