Hunt Story

Me and my dad have been sitting there for an hour. We’ve seen this deer before in bow season but he stayed out of range. Ever since that he disappeared from our cameras never coming to eat in the food plot. Earlier that morning we were on the way to hunt when I checked the Moultrie camera and there he was, eating the corn right before daylight. Me and my dad knew he had to come out that afternoon and he did. So we’d been sitting there for an hour and all of a sudden I look to my right and he’s stepping out of the woods at the same spot we saw him last time. I tell my dad, “There he is,” and start getting my gun ready. My dad states, “I don’t see him.” He was standing behind some brush then he stepped out. “Oh yeah that’s him, are you on him?” he asks me. “Yes!” I exclaimed. My dad goes “Meh,“ and I shoot right through his lungs. He starts running, we hear him crash in the woods behind us and we start celebrating. That’s how I killed the scar buck.
