Hunt Story
I was sitting in my stand around 8:30 am. I saw five does come into the clearcut and stayed about 10 to 15 minutes. At about 8:50 am, I saw three does coming toward my stand. Then, they eased into the nearby woods. About five minutes later, I saw a deer stand up stretching. I raised my binoculars and realized it was the deer I had on my trail camera. The buck began walking and gave me a clear broadside shot. I immediately raised my 280 and shot! He dropped in his tracks at 225 yards!
