Hunt Story
The morning hunt was pretty slow with only one spike buck seen. Afternoon hunt very slow with only a button buck seen, I started thinking probably would not likely see any more deer this evening. Then a good-sized doe stepped out into the plot and started feeding. She kept looking back over her shoulder, she looked nervous. A minute or two later I heard a grunt from inside the tree line. Out stepped this buck head down and walking toward the doe. She trotted about 30 yards further into the food plot. He stood there and watched her then started walking toward her with head down. That's when I shot him, one shot dropped in his tracks. My biggest whitetail of my lifetime of hunting just hit the ground. I couldn't be happier with this beautiful buck. -cliff
