Hunt Story
This buck had been on trail cams all summer. On the evening of October 13th I decided to sit a ladder stand in between some planted pines, hardwoods, and an old cut over. Around 7:30 p.m. the buck approached from out of the planted pines coming to the feeder. I made a 20-yard shot and the deer ran into an old cutover, I made calls to my wife, oldest son and a few close friends. I waited till 2 close friends arrived to start tracking then my son showed up. After about 75 yards I saw my lighted knock blinking in the woods and there laid my buck.
