Hunt Story
I arrived about 45 minutes before daylight, and since the time changed I had to come a little earlie. I sat there and sat there, and I had only seen a small little doe. Then time passed, and I heard a couple of grunts and bleats in a little flat pond to our left. I turned around and saw a doe running like she was getting chased. Well, then she went into the woods and came right under me about 10 yards to my right, and right behind her a little 1-horned spike was chasing. They ran all in the food plot that we were hunting. Then, 3 minutes later, this buck was right behind them trailing. He had his nose to the ground and came right under my stand. I got the gun ready, and there he came out of the edge of the woods. He looked straight at me, and I got my shot off around 40 yards. He ran about 25 yards and dropped.
