Hunt Story

I've had this deer on camera for the last 3 seasons. Past him up on two different occasions in the past 2 years. This deer was pretty contestant all summer long up until the end of August, and he disappeared. He stayed gone until September 15 when he slipped up on a high pressure day at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I was planning on hunting another area until I saw that picture come through from a cell cam. I grabbed all my stuff and headed over to the ground blind for an afternoon hunt. I saw several deer that afternoon just waiting for him to show up. Around 7:15 the other deer in the area started acting skittish and started looking through the woods. I slowly leaned forward and looked out the window and sure enough it was him walking up through the hardwoods. As he came into the area he ran every other deer off and began to feed. I watched him for about 10-15 minutes until he gave me that broadside shot at 25 yards. He ran of and died within 60 yards. Great way to start the season!
