Hunt Story
Buck followed a doe into the hayfield and proceeded to chase her off away from me for a few minutes. Doe then turned and came across the hayfield. I started shaking waiting on him to walk to where I could shoot him. Got so anxious that I missed the first shot and my gun jammed. Stood up, had to unload and reload my rifle. Buck ran off then came back to the doe that was still standing in the hayfield. Still breathing hard and shaking I shot over his back second shot. Buck runs about 20 yards, stops again broadside at around 200 yards and I managed to get it together and make a third shot this time hearing the smack as it hit. He ran off to later track him with the dogs just to find him in the creek behind the deer stand.
