Hunt Story
Hunting at Flint River WMA, at around 4:50 pm I spotted a doe that was just feeding around. I noticed some movement behind her about 50 yards. It took me a few moments to get in position to see what I was looking at. After what seemed like an hour he moved enough for me to see his times. I immediately got buck fever when I saw the drop tine. After seeing the rack I was so shook up I couldn't hold the crosshairs on him steady. I moved the top section of my climber down some so I could sit on the foot section of my stand and rest the gun on the front rail. After a few deep breaths I was able to squeeze off a shot. He didn't take another step.
