Hunter: Chase Mclemore
Points: 12 (6L, 6R)
Hunted this deer all season last year hard. He had not showed on the cameras all summer. I did have a big 9-point I was planning on shooting. At 5:15 the 9 stepped into the plot along with a small 6-point. I got drawn on the 9, but broadhead blade hit the riser causing arrow to pop off string. When I let down to re-nock, he busted out the food plot. I thought my hunt was over. Had a big thunder storm coming in. Was watching radar and decided to ride it out. Luckily I did cause it broke up and went around me. At 7:00 a big 7-point that was questionable to shoot or not stepped in food plot and worked two scrapes that I had freshened up with Bowhunter Fatal Obsession Scrape Juice. Decided to pass on him, and at 7:15 this buck stepped into plot and the rest is history. No ground shrinkage at all!!
