Hunt Story
Ended a great Thanksgiving hunting with my family. Arrived to the stand Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., and the buck was at the edge of a bottom field following a doe. I was not able to take an ethical shot due to him pushing the doe. Hunted the same stand on Saturday, and he came out following a doe at the same corner of the field around 4:45 p.m. His attention remained on the doe allowing me to get situated. The buck started to leave the field to follow the doe when I squeezed the trigger at 70 yards. The 6.5 Creedmoor dropped him in his tracks.
