Hunt Story
It was a clear, cool morning in Dooly County when I climbed into my deer stand. I was in my stand for approximately one hour when I noticed a big buck coming out of the woods to walk across a field. I got my gun ready, and when it stepped out, I steadied my gun and carefully took the shot. The buck was approximately 80 yards away when I shot him. The buck ran 20-25 yards, and we saw him fall. We waited for 10-15 minutes before I got down to go get the deer. He was a 9-pointer weighing around 200 pounds.
