It was Saturday evening and I had climbed into the stand to try and get my first bow deer. I sat there a couple hours till a doe and two small bucks showed up. I decided to shoot the doe but when I got my bow off the hanger I made a noise that spooked the doe and it ran off. Then a few minutes later an 8-point buck showed up. And my first bow deer ended up being the 8-point buck.
