Hunt Story
So grateful for the opportunity to kill this deer. Have had this climber over a grown-up clear cut for the last couple years. It is a great area where we see lots of deer. This deer was the 9th deer I had seen this morning. Started seeing deer moving prior to legal shooting light. Had deer all around me when this deer showed up at 815 am. There was lots of grunting and chasing going on prior to the shot. Again blessed to have killed this 10 and blessed to have killed a 9-point with a bow last week at the Newton County water authority. Thanks to the water authority folks and Clint Brooks who helped get the 9-pointer out and thanks to my brother Bryan Davis for helping get this 10 drug out. 191 pounds live weight. Again blessed to get both of these in between coaching travel baseball and travel softball coming up so time was limited.
