Hunt Story
I had this buck on camera for several months, and couldn’t wait for opening day to come around. I was hoping and praying that he would keep his same pattern. After a rainy morning, I decided it was best to get in the stand a little early, and I’m glad he did. After an hour and a half he came out quartering away, and I didn’t hesitate. I immediately called my boyfriend shaking and overjoyed. We decided to let him lay after seeing good blood and came back to find him 100 yards from where I took the shot. This was even more memorable to harvest him on the farm I grew up on.
