My father and I had seen this buck about a week earlier and I was not able to get a shot on him. We decided to go for a quick hunt on Christmas Eve because it had been raining for two days and we felt like the deer would be moving. We had not been in the stand long when this deer showed up with two smaller bucks and I was able to make a 30-yard shot.
