Hunt Story
I have been hunting Brutus for several years, each year he has improved significantly and knew I wanted him to reach 5 1/2 plus years. I saw Brutus on opening weekend but could not get a shot, he went into hiding until Sunday November 3rd 2024. He stepped out to feed with several does, I couldn’t get a shot, he was behind a homemade hog pen. After several minutes he stepped out, I took the shot and wasn’t sure if the shot was good. I waited a few minutes then went and found blood immediately, the deer was found no more than 75 yards from where I shot Brutus.
