Hunt Story
Had been hunting all weekend as this was our annual camp weekend as this same group of families have been camping together since the 60's. Hadn't seen a deer all weekend as it was hard to get up Sunday morning. I sprayed a can of Tink's 69 along the creek as I walked in. He came in around 8 with his nose to the ground following the 69. I shot him behind the shoulder at about 70 yards and he ran maybe 20 yards. I was literally debating on taking a nap when he came trotting across the hillside. If he'd been a couple of minutes later probably never would have seen him. Was hunting with my 82 year old. grandfather, my father and my twin brother.
