Hunt Story
We got in the stand at 6:30 a.m. Shortly afterwards we had a deer blowing behind us. As daylight approached we could hear deer all around us. Around 7:15 we could make out deer feeding in front of us, which we later could see and determined were does. At 7:30 we heard a buck grunting, and the does started running all around us. The deer settled back down, and we continued to watch the does feed. By 7:40 we could see pretty clear and saw a deer move, so I looked through my binoculars and could tell it was the 10-point we were hunting. Cameron got his rifle ready and waited for the shot. He squeezed the trigger and the buck dropped in his tracks. The celebration started!
