Hunt Story
Started out in June when I equipped this spot, this buck showed up on camera and I knew then and there that when season came upon that I wasn’t leaving those woods until I got him. He looked giant in velvet. Mid August came and he lost his velvet which I knew he lost a lot of mass due to the loss of velvet. September 14th came around and I knew for sure that he would come in the morning, but boy was I wrong. I sat from 6:00am all the way till 7:56pm then I saw horns. It was him, I drew my bow back and waited for a good shot and took it. I waited about an hour or so before going to retrieve the deer. There he was on the ground waiting for me to get my hands around those spectacular antlers.
