Hunt Story
After a shower that lasted about 45 minutes, the deer started moving. I was in my Summit lock-on sitting on the edge of a field about 20 yards from a spot we often see deer feed. After a 7-pointer came into the field, a fawn and two does came into the feeding area. Just before dark during the last available light my buck suddenly walked from the opposite direction into my shooting lane. I didn’t know he was even in the field and had to quickly draw while sitting. I let my arrow fly from my Bear Kuma, and he ran about 20 yards before collapsing in the field. This buck is my first ever bow-kill deer and my largest buck I have ever taken. God truly blessed me on this hunt.
