Hunt Story
Caden hunted more this year then he ever has in the past. He had one plan in mind, to kill a big buck. He has several bucks under his belt, with one wall hanger. He has let close to 10 different bucks walk waiting on a shooter. We were getting trail-cameras picture of this deer on a powerline between planted pines. The only stand we had on the powerline in this area was a single tripod. So we brushed in the bottom of the tripod on the ground and sat in some camping chairs. This buck came out in the old food plot on the powerline right at first light. Caden made a perfect 120-yard shot dropping the buck in his tracks. Made a great start for Thanksgiving day!
