Hunt Story
We always save this area for November. Anticipation is always high when hunting this stand. Never know what you're gonna see. I said a prayer after getting in the stand. This morning I saw 1 doe early around 715. At 840, saw a doe come out and you could tell there was something tailing her. Once she got out of sight, this guy came down the same trail and stopped 80 yards in front of me broadside. Once I shot he ran 30 yards straight toward me and dropped. I knew he was a good buck but was very surprised when I finally got my hands on him. Pics don't do him justice. Very exciting hunt that happened very quick. Gotta give a special thanks to my brother Chad and friend Troy for helping me get him out. As always thanks to my wife for allowing me to obsess and chase these animals.
