I hunted all of last season hoping to get a shot at this deer. I had 1 encounter with him but it was too dark to get a shot. This season he showed back up in a spot in a clear-cut in between a bedding area and a big ag field. I hunted him the first 2 weekends of the season with no luck. I decided to try again the third weekend and he came by just before dark and presented a broadside 27-yard shot. Thankfully I was able to get a double lung shot and he ran 65-75 yards before going down in the edge of the clear-cut.
