Hunt Story
I was hunting in a stand in some planted pines looking down two long open strips through the pines. I saw a few deer early but could not tell what they were. A little before 7:30 this deer stepped out and I immediately recognized him as the buck we called "crab claw" from our trail-cam pictures. He walked out of the strip before I could get a shot. I grunted several times, and he walked back into the strip. As soon as he turned broadside, I shot, and he ran about 30 yards before piling up.
