Hunt Story
Me and my son Brooks were sitting in a ground blind on the edge of a hardwood bottom, by a swamp, with a pasture behind us. We hadn’t seen a deer and were getting ready to leave, then we saw this 8-pointer ending under a persimmon tree working his way to us. Brooks made a perfect 20-yard shot and the buck didn’t run 50 yards. This was his first deer and first buck.
