Hunt Story
I was sitting in our box stand watching a powerline. The first deer came out and it was a 7-pointer. I shot and missed. The deer stood there and then walked about 20 yards. I shot again, and it didn't move. After about 2 minutes the deer walked off and into the woods. My dad was sitting with me, and we both thought I missed again. After a few minutes, the 8-pointer walked out of the same trail. I shot, and he took off we knew I hit him. Another smaller buck ran out behind the 8-pointer after I shot. We were packing up to go get my deer and a monster ran out of the same trail and never slowed down. My dad shot at him and missed. After finding my 8-pointer and dragging him back to the powerline, we walked around for about 2 minutes and found the 7-pointer we thought I missed. It was a crazy hunt, and I killed my first and second bucks in one morning. I'm waiting for doe days now.
