Hunt Story
After letting this buck slip out from behind us the night before, we thought we might’ve missed a chance on a trophy buck and we decided to pursue him one more night. The wind was right and the conditions were perfect- with only 15 minutes left of shooting light, the buck stepped out once again at 165 yards away. Brantley quickly settled on the deer and made a perfect heart shot while his Step-Dad, Tommy Paul, was in silent panic mode (as any parent would be)! However, that panic quickly turned into relief when direct impact was made and we confirmed the harvest was successful.
