Hunt Story
Rained most of the afternoon, then cleared up. Buck walked within 30 yards of tree stand just before dark. Shot wasn't as accurate as I would have liked it to be, as it was a little back from a vital shot, causing it to run farther than I had hoped, crossed into a field heading to water before expiring. Very little blood droplets on already wet and dark leaves made this recovery extremely difficult, but we finally found him just inside a nearby field.
