Hunt Story

My dad and I got in our stand about 5:00 on the evening of the 27th. Around 5:55 we seen a huge old doe come by with her mouth open, tongue hanging out and acting crazy. A couple of minutes later a spike came from the same direction on the trail of the doe. A minute later, another small fork horn buck came by on the same trail that the doe and spike had just traveled. We heard another deer coming and spotted the rack about 75 yards through the woods and my dad told me to knock the safety off and get on him. He stopped in front of us about 75 yards and I shot him behind the shoulder. He ran about 50 yards and crashed! This is the first time I have tagged two bucks in the same season and killed them only 13 days apart. It’s been an awesome but quick season for me! Now I will focus on killing a doe with my bow and filming while hunting with my Dad.
