Hunt Story
I had been sitting for about two hours and had not seen a thing. I suddenly saw a doe behind me, but she went into the woods pretty quick. I looked in front of me and saw two big-bodied deer. I quickly got my gun up but realized that it was a doe and a 10-point that I had already passed up earlier this year. I got to hearing something from the left in the small planted pines. The deer finally came out, and I knew it was a big buck. I put my scope on him, and I knew it was the buck I had been hunting all year. He stopped and I shot him perfectly in the lung/heart area. He ran about 50 yards, and we recovered him out and hour later after we gave him some time to bleed out.
