Hunt Story
At about 4:45 a doe came down a game trail walking toward me and stopping to eat. I intended on shooting her since my freezer is empty. Since she was at ease, and we are in rut, I decided I would wait to shoot her until the last opportunity. Ten minutes later my buck followed he same path in. I harvested him at 40 yards, broadside. He ran 30 yards and crashed and was recovered.
