Hunt Story
Opening day, Fulton County evening hunt. I had pictures of this buck the day before at 4:30 p.m. I got to the blind at 3:15. It was hot, so I opened up the blind. Big mistake. A small buck busted me. There were 20+ deer in the area, all on alert. So approximately two hours went by with deer staring into the blind. Finally, they all leave. I adjust the blind, and more deer roll in relaxed. He came in and busted me immediately. Head up, head down for 10 to 12 times until a neighbor made a racket. He looked 90 degrees away with his head behind a tree. I drew back, lined up and shot. He went a short distance and crashed. My first deer from a ground blind.
