Hunt Story

I've been coming up hunting with my cousin Charlie since 1988. We had pics of the deer since he put out cameras in August. I got to my cousin's about 1:30 that day, and after shooting the breeze too long, we decided to hunt together in the large blind he built we named "The Condo", thinking we'd finish catching up. We ran off a doe going in about 4:30, but by 5:10 she came back in from the far end of the field about 165 yards away. We both grabbed are binoculars, and moments later we saw him through the branches behind her. I got the rifle in place, and Charlie confirmed it was the buck we named Curly. He cleared the trees and gave me the perfect broadside shot. We gave him about 10 minutes and found him less than 30 yards from where he had been standing. He scored 133 2/8 by the taxidermist without deductions.
