Hunt Story
I had this buck on camera multiple times leading up to this hunt. On Saturday 12/5/20, I passed a very nice 8-point knowing that it wasn't this deer. One of my cousins thought he saw this deer on the afternoon of 12/5/20. It was overcast and cool and felt right. Daylight was slowly fading, so I had my rifle up and ready to shoot. At roughly 5:40 PM, he stepped out at roughly 100 yards. I knew it was him once I saw the size of his G2s and G3s. My luck being so great, while my rifle had been up and ready to shoot, I had successfully fogged up the eyepiece of the scope. I panicked, wiped the glass as quick as I could, got back on him, and made a decent shot.
