Hunt Story
We have been seeing this buck on camera for about a month. I hunted him last Thursday and saw him, but couldn’t get a good shot at him. After trimming some limbs and waiting for a perfect wind, I tried again this Tuesday evening. After sitting for a few hours, there were eight does and four 8-pointers that walked out. Finally, he came walking out around 7:30 p.m. I waited for him to turn broadside, took the shot and smoked him. He ran about 20 yards and went down. We backed out and waited for about an hour before going back in to get him. I just want to thank God for the blessing of getting an amazing buck like this. I also want to thank Rob Rozar and Red Oaks Plantation for an awesome hunt.
