Hunt Story
We had several pictures of this buck as well as another 8-point that was on our shoot list. My son-in-law had hunted him on a few other occasions and neither the big 8-point or the 10-point had shown themselves. On the morning of Oct. 21 a couple of doe and a small buck crossed out of the food plot, and about 15 minutes later this guy stepped out and I knew immediately it was the 10-point. I misjudged his distance and shot over him the first shot, second shot laid him down.
